Dan brings a wealth of experience and insight to our training programs. His passion for dogs extends beyond mere training; he’s a mentor, a confidant, and a trusted advisor to both pets and their owners alike. With his guidance, our team is able to offer comprehensive solutions tailored to each dog’s personality and behavioral challenges. Together, we strive to create a supportive environment where dogs can thrive and families can find joy in their companionship.

Heather, a valued trainer at K9 Unified, holds a degree in Behavioral Science and passionately aids both people and animals. Before joining K9 Unified, she facilitated healing through horses as an Equine Assisted Learning facilitator at US Horse Welfare and Rescue, working with children and teens with cognitive disorders, depression, and anxiety. Witnessing the positive impact of rehabilitated animals, she now focuses on dogs, specializing in behavior challenges, training service dogs, and providing effective training solutions for owners. Her ultimate goal is to train her own therapeutic service dog. Outside of work, Heather enjoys time with family, travel, challenging hikes, and sporting events.

​​Gia began her journey at K9 Unified as a playgroup attendant and has since advanced to become our director of playgroup. Dedicated to curating a paws-itively delightful experience for each four-legged visitor, she prioritizes safety, enjoyment, and plenty of cuddles at our canine playgroup facility.

Hi, I’m Sam! I’m a lifelong animal lover living her childhood dream of playing with dogs and helping to ensure a safe environment where pups of all sizes can be their happy, wild selves! When I’m not at work I enjoy snuggling and caring for my pet rats and spending time with my family!

I’m Kristina, an energetic pup enthusiast who believes every dog deserves a day filled with play, care, and endless belly rubs at our playgroup! I LOVE snapping adorable pics of our playgroup pups and capturing their big smiles and goofy shenanigans! I always aim to make dogs of all patterns, sizes, and personalities feel at home with us, and I can’t wait to meet your furbaby!!!!
